Raoult’s law stated that partial pressure of any pure substance is directly proportional to its vapor pressure of the substance. Vapor pressure of any substance depends on the rate of evaporation of that substance. As boiling temperature of alcohol is lower than water that’s why it evaporates at room temperature. While any non-volatile substance mixed with volatile one then its boiling temperature increases resulting lower Vapour pressure. Vapor pressure is the pressure created by steam or vapor of that substance after boiling. #science #chemistry #education @CONCEPTUALGURUJI
