Today we're going to talk about how to shoot the Walter PPK 380 caliber semi-automatic pistol.
This is the Walter PPK. First step, you take your fully loaded magazine and you're going to insert it into the magazine well and makes sure its seeded well.
The second thing you're going to do is rack the slide back to load the weapon. Okay. Notice when you rack it back, the hammer is cocked back. So what you can do is the safety lever here will de-cock the gun. So if you rack it and you're not ready to shoot it, you slide the safety down to safe position and it de-cocks the hammer and you can slide it back into fire position. Now the gun is ready to fire but the hammer is not cocked back.
From there, you want to make sure your grip on this gun is nice and tight. Your shooting hand, take a nice firm grip. Your support hand is going to cover your fingers. And the thumbs are going to go over each other like this.
With this gun, it's a little small, you have to be careful to make sure your hand is not higher than the tang here because the slide will take skin off if not gripped properly.
From there, you're going to aim at your target and take your stance. When you're ready to shoot and you're ready to shoot only, your finger's going to go under the trigger. Gently pull it back and take your shot.
When you're done shooting, be sure to remove your finger from the trigger. The slide is locked back indicating the weapon is empty.
First step, your magazine release button is here. You're going to release it and remove the magazine.
From there you want to rack the slide several times. Be sure there's nothing left. Pull it back, do a visual inspection. Make sure there's nothing left in it. Let it slide forward.
Now you notice the hammer is locked backed again. So once again your de-cocking lever here, the hammer slides forward, the gun is safe.
And that is how to shoot the Walter PPK 380.
