Here at the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, our Soldiers like to continually challenge their skills. So to make things fun and advance their marksmanship, they test their limits with some occasional trick shots.
This week's Trick Shot Tuesday features U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Mark Staffen and Sgt. Christian Elliott with the USAMU Shotgun Team. Elliott is going to throw up two clay targets. Staffen is going to hit one, eject the hull and shoot that, and then, shoot the last clay target before it hits the ground. It happens fast so you may need to replay it! Then, so you can see just what Staffen had to do to make that happen, we replay his actions in slowmo so you can see the flow of his movements.
Obviously, this is not something to try at home. The USAMU Soldiers have had countless hours of practice on their shotguns and shoot at the international level. We just thought you all might like to see what all that practice can lead to: flow, accuracy and even a little fun.
