Splitgate in 2023 is still one of the best Free to Play FPS games out there, even with a reduced player population, you can still get into matches thanks to crossplay. 1047 games are hard at work on the next game in the Splitgate universe, but that doesn't mean you should completely forget about the original Splitgate. What started as a college project ultimately turned into a $100 million dollar game. I am so excited for Splitgate 2 and in the meantime I will still be playing some more Splitgate in 2023.
