Despite the slowdown, India will remain the fastest-growing major economy in the world, as per the Economic Survey 2022-23 that was tabled in Parliament on Tuesday by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, a day before she presents the Union Budget. Prepared by the Chief Economic Advisor, V Anantha Nageswaran, the Economic Survey details the state of the economy, the challenges due to global uncertainties and the roadmap for India’s growth in the remainder of this decade.
