Those of you who listen to NOAA Weather Radio may be noticing that it's changing... many locations now have a new system called the "Broadcast Message Handler". It replaces the old NWR technology that's been used since the 1990s. While the old system works just fine, this new system has more upgraded software, and also has a different sounding voice. The new voice sounds more human-like than the previous one. I like it, but it's going to take some getting used to.
So here is the last broadcast cycle of WXK24 in Odell,IL with the old CRS system followed by the first cycle with the BMH. Hope you enjoy!
