Apply Chord Extensions to Your Right-Hand Voicings:

Swap the Root for the 9th: On dominant chords, you can also alter the 9th for even more flavor. Stick around until the end to learn how!

Replace the 5th with the 13th: This step adds depth and a smooth, soulful touch. Use it sparingly to avoid overwhelming your sound, especially in pop contexts.

Pro Tip: For the best results, try these techniques with First Inversion (starting on the third of the chord) and Third Inversion (starting on the seventh). These shapes handle the added dissonance beautifully.
