Sen Heitkamp on SOTU was asked about the proposed gun control legislation that is far stricter than any we have seen before. She pointed out that ND has the highest amount of gun ownership and the lowest rate of gun violence. She is a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment. She says we need to live in reality and look at what can actually pass. The proposals being tossed about she say do not fit the bill for her.
