#California is being pummeled by yet another winter #storm, fueled by a bomb cyclone spinning hundreds of miles off the coast. This #weather system is expected to be devastating, with the Bay Area bracing for heavy rain, winds gusting up to 70 mph, and breaking waves up to 30-feet.
Meanwhile, the already blanketed Sierra Nevada region could see even more snowfall. Forecasters warn that this rapidly intensifying weather system could not only be worse than the storm that hit on New Year's Eve — flooding streets, causing power outages and destroying property across the region — it could actually be life-threatening.
