Los Angeles COVID-19 patient zero Gregg Garfield and his partner AJ join The Doctors to discuss his harrowing battle with the novel virus. Gregg shares that he underwent 9 surgeries since getting COVID, and he has many more to go. He lost his fingers and toes, and he spent 31 days in a medical coma hooked up to a ventilator. While fighting COVID had MRSA, sepsis, collapsed lungs, blood clots and more happening within his body. Gastroenterologist Dr. Jorge Rodriguez explains the cytokine storm that Gregg experienced.
