Hey today I want to talk about Udemy and Udacity for website traffic. And also provide alternative ideas to get eyeballs on what you are doing instead of just handing money over to Faceobok ads or Google ads.
Is it just me or do you see a lot of YouTube advertisements for Udemy when it comes to Google Adwords.
I'm constantly seeing the guy with glasses talking about Udemy. Like you probably are I'm interested in earning some money online.
As you probably already know if you have a store, like an online store or something you are selling then you need people to enter your store for you to make money. You need traffic.
This is where Website traffic comes into play. A huge help in my website traffic has been from YouTube.
It is more competitive then it was 3-4 years ago, but you can get a ton of traffic. Believe it or not you can actually get free traffic from Udemy.
Well, it's not necessarily free you have to invest some of your time and energy into creating a course around a topic.
Udemy has courses from $30 to $100 and some go up to $1,000. What you may not know is that there are free courses. Yes free.
So if you are looking to learn something and something costs $100 and another one is free, you might go with the free stuff. Whatever niche you are into, maybe it's dogs then you can create content around that niche and give it away to Udemy.
Then if you make a course around that free topic, then you can talk about something you sale. Not a bad idea right? I just heard about it today. Geez I got so much to do, where do I find the time.
With Udacity you get a certificate upon completion and it really has the smallest number of courses. Another Online learning center is edx and lastly there is coursera.
With Coursera College University professors have created the content. EDX is mostly about science classes, but you can use it to get a college degree and to get credit not all schools accept the credit.
I may be wrong, but the only place out of the 4 that accept a free course for you to upload to get traffic is Udemy. If I am wrong please let me know in the comments.
In fact you can take the content you already have and stick it up there. I'm a big fan of creating a video, uploading it to YouTube. Then stripping the sound out and uploading it to Anchor and Soundcloud. Then take the written form and sticking it in Medium. Then you can take pieces of it to advertise your YouTube video.
Really leverage as much of the work as you can. That is a great way to get traffic from your work. Using Udemy is another tool to get traffic. Another idea is Ebay. You can create a low cost course then use it to get attention to another product you have for sale. Or you can make it competitively priced.
In closing I would like to say right now the education system is a massive bubble. It really is a ripe opportunity. I hope you got value from this video on Udemy and Udacity for website traffic. Have a nice day.
