Sidi's top of the line pro-level race boots are the Sidi Vortice and Sidi Vortice Air Boots. Worn by MotoGP pros Colin Edwards, Loris Capirossi, and up-and-coming pro racer Josh Herrin, the Sidi Vortice Boots provide race-level protection for the most technical and serious of racers. These boots were designed hand-in-hand with an orthopedic surgeon who identified the biggest injury prone zones and how to protect them. Out came the Tecno Tensioner system which operates at the calf, shin, and instep and provides the snuggest possible fit and limits the range of motion to prevent any serious injury. The TPU ankle brace protection system operates in conjunction with the Tensioners to provide the highest levels of protection. A full Lorica construction with strategic open/close ventilation panels, a Teflon-treated Cambrelle moisture-wicking liner, and a high grip Racing SRS Sole are the core build of this boot. Beyond that, you've got bolt on hard part protective pieces that are all replaceable. So you're not just investing in a one season boot; this boot with its high amount of replaceable hard parts will get you through many seasons of racing.
