Taipei-based arts studio Whyixd is made up of artists, architects, designers, and engineers. Founded in 2011, the team create art installations with the aim of engaging their audience in moments of wow and wonder.

Their latest project, Cyclonic Bloom, a dynamic light installation of 177 mechanical flowers, was made for the new Maker Building of Cooler Master, a leading supplier of computer cases, cooling and power supplies. As a symbol of "creation" and "renewal", this interactive sculpture is transformed by individual or collective participation.
