Leavenworth Rd. Garbage Truck off Road (Shelton, CT) 6/18/24
SHELTON, CT - Just after 1:30pm on June 18, 2024, Shelton Fire and Police were dispatched to the area of Leavenworth Road at Nicholdale for the garbage truck off the road on it’s side. First companies on scene found a City of Shelton garbage truck on the opposite side of the road with the driver’s side of the vehicle completely off the road and leaning severely. The driver was unharmed and no further details are known at this time.
