In this video, I continue my discussion on modernism for students in general and for the students of BA Hons in English (Sem IV) of Durgapur Women's College (Affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University), West Bengal, India, in particular.
Through this two-part video lecture, I discourse on the crisis of the British Empire that got exposed during the late 19th century and early 20th century and show how it is vital to our understanding of the literature of some key modern(ist) writers of this time such as Yeats, Pound, Eliot, Conrad and Forster.
