We started taking our son who has been diagnosed with High Functioning Autism, Hiking as a form of exercise to keep Liam active to minimize his screen time on electronic devices. This also helps our family bond more. I feel it brings us closer as a family and Liam isn't completely bored at home.
If we don't have time to go hiking, we will walk around our neighborhood or take Liam and his sister Emma to ride their scooters. We strive for two to three times each week.
