All reptiles are awesome but some just aren't for me. I'm a big fan of arboreal snakes, venomous or not. But if I had to get a green snake that hangs out in the trees I would for sure opt for an Emerald Tree Boa over a Green Tree Python every time. Especially the amazing pattern of the Emerald Basin Emerald Tree Boa. When it comes to huge snakes, miss me with those angry African Rock Pythons and hand over those Burmese Pythons. Scrub Pythons are another really big snake that are absolutely amazing, stunning looking but aren't for me. They git too big and an Eastern Indigo might not be a close relative but for sure would be more in my lane as far as pets go. Bull snakes are another species that make amazing pets but they are in every collection and I think a better more unique option might be a cribo. Black Tailed Cribos or Yellow Tailed Cribos both are so amazing! Of course Venomous Snakes are a no go for me. Perhaps one day if there were a staff trained in Venomous Snakes I would go for it. But for now, maybe a Beaded Lizard or a Gila Monster.
