In person from St Augustine’s Abbey in Canterbury we look at how in the late 500s and early 600s, England went from being not a Christian, to being very Christian indeed, but how and why was this the case. At the centre of this were perhaps some of the influential people in Anglo Saxon England, including King Ethelbert and Queen Bertha of Kent, St, Augustine, King Raewald of East Anglia and Pope Gregory the Great.
