"When Purdue University’s Class of 2021 gathered at Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday, May 15, for their spring graduation commencement, it marked the first time in school history that the ceremony had been held outdoors.
Undergraduate, professional, and master’s degree candidates were recognized at the ceremony, during which Purdue President Mitch Daniels served as the 2021 spring commencement speaker. This is a full-length video recording of the event.
The graduates were seated by class in the football stadium’s stands. Each graduate was allotted two tickets for friends and family, who were assigned seats in accordance with the social-distancing standards outlined in the University’s Protect Purdue policy. Purdue also live-streamed the event on its website for those who were unable to attend in person."
