GOOD NEWS FOR A RETURN TO CRUISE!! 2020 Cruising Restart Possible for Carnival & Major Cruise Lines//In this video we share the positive developments in the latest cruise news including the meeting between the White House and the cruise line CEO's from Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, MSC and Disney. Plus, we share cruise updates about the cruise industry, including CLIA and new cruise protocols for when cruising restarts in North America and worldwide.
There are many indications that cruise lines hope to start up gradually with some cruise ships in December 2020. In Carnival's case, they may be still hoping for some cruises in November 2020. The CDC no sail order will need to be lifted, however cruise line execs say that they are ready.
As I mentioned in the video, I would update Carnival News on November sailings as they came up. Unfortunately, Carnival Cruise Line has now announced that November 2020 cruises from Port Canaveral and Miami are cancelled. They continue to work on protocols and procedures and hope to resume sailings with a staggered approach in December.
In other cruise news and updates, we have heard that crew members are preparing to return, or in some cases have returned for duty and training. This is really positive news for cruises to resume safely and responsibly, with protocols and cruise ship updates in place.
