Naughton was just 15 when her career took off with the girl group alongside Adrienne Bailon Houghton and Kiely Williams. After spending a few years with the girls she decided to part ways in 2002. However, before Naughton’s departure, the group released the albums 3LW and A Girl Can Mack.

At the time of her departure, she told MTV that it was due to management, the growing tension between the members, and an alleged food fight that left her feeling “physically abused,” the news site notes. Despite that, she said she learned a big lesson: to “make sure you don’t get into business with people that you don’t know and trust.”
