NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) - A handful of people went bald on Sunday in Norwood for a good cause.

The annual St. Baldrick’s Foundation Head-Shaving event started at 12 p.m. at The Pub at Rookwood Commons.

Participants raised pledge money by agreeing to go bald.

The event benefitted childhood cancer research.

This year, organizers say the event raised over $40,000 and expect that number to climb.
