Here is a detailed guide how to setup and control the fans and cooling for your ASUS motherboard within the BIOS and also in the fan xpert software addon that is now available in the ASUS Armoury crate utility. Formally this was known as ASUS Fan Xpert 4, but is now just fan xpert in Armoury crate.
There are some nice new features, and even an ultra quiet PWM override that might make your fans even quieter and slower than you thought possible.
