After weeks of frantic fleeing across the Gornok Plains; the Broken Tusks have finally come to the edge of the Tusk Mountains. Here the following would follow the Syorn route and turn north, not daring to cross the treacherous and frozen peaks as they once did generations ago in the Ethgir times...

As the Mammoth Lords of the Broken Tusks decide what to do - the noble scouts prepare to journey to the once-sacred Red Cat Cave so that they may make good on their promise to Grandfather Eiwa - to find out what happened to the Primordial Flame, recover it, and save their people and their land.

Now a twisted and dark demesne, haunted by the vengeful spirit of it's once noble guardian Syarstik, the Red Cat Cave has become a place of death.

* Automatic Bonus Progression

* Improved Hero Points
When a hero point is used to re-roll a d20, a result of 1 to 10 has +10 added to it, guaranteeing that re-rolled d20 with a hero point will never be lower than an 11. A PC may choose to use either result.

* Improved Aid
A PC may for One Action "Prepare" which enables them to use a Reaction in the upcoming round to Aid. At the time the Aid is given (the reaction is used), the PC will describe how they are assisting and choose which skill or attack they are using. No die roll is made to determine if the Aid is successful, or how much Aid bonus is given. Instead the Aid reaction is automatically successful and the recipient of the Aid will receive a circumstance bonus of +1, +2, +3 or +4 determined by the Proficiency level (Trained, Expert, Master, or Legendary) of the PC who is providing the Aid.

Quest for the Frozen Flame takes place in a remote and frozen land known as the Realm of the Mammoth Lords. An honorable, yet primitive, people dwell there formed into large clans known as "Followings" which nomadically live off the massive herds of megafauna that dwell within this ancient land, most notably the Mammoths.

Prepare to embark on a great journey in which the actions of our heroes will not only decide the fate of their small outcast clan known as the Broken Tusks, but the entire future of the Realm!!
