Are you somebody who experiences pain when going up and down stairs, or perhaps just find it a struggle? In this class I will take you through a series of posture correction exercises aimed at improving just that.
For most people who struggle with walking up and down stairs, their main complaint is knee pain. Typically their legs have become weak and their upper body too dominant, which results in the knees taking extra load. Whilst this can present slightly differently from person to person, this posture class aims to open up the upper body before working on the feet, hips and glutes, targetting all of the major areas that prevent people from walking up and down stairs easily.
This postural alignment routine will be suitable for people seeking general knee pain relief, whether this is from walking up and down stairs or walking on flat ground. However, as always, listen to your body as you will never become pain free by pushing through pain.
