Marcos Jr. in a meeting with officials and chief executive officers (CEOs) in Tokyo, Japan on February 9, 2023.
Secretary Ople also underscores the important role Filipino seafarers play where they are regarded as an essential workforce in maintaining smooth operation in the shipping industry.
