It takes just a few effects to create shimmering synths that stand out from the crowd and from the rest of your mix.
In this video, the synth I used was a Kontakt VST by Native Instruments [ Ссылка ].
Then I layered 4 effects from Soundtoys together with some automation. I put the phase mistress first to create some movement over time on the synthesizer. Then I put the pan man advanced pan to create left right movement. After that I placed an Echo Boy Jr. that enhanced both of the previous effects. Finally, I put a MicroShift chorus effect at the end to give some shimmer.
The combination of these effects and the added movement they provided allowed the synth part to sit lower in the mix will still being perceptible.
