Returning this June after their nearly-sold-out partner show in 2020, pastel artist Laura Hickman and acrylic artist Steve Rogers use their highly-skilled talent to create original paintings of the beautiful Delmarva waterways. “View from the Water” gives Laura and Steve the opportunity to depict the landscapes we encounter every day through their own unique style, allowing us all to see our iconic peninsula in a new light.
We sat down with Laura and Steve to discuss their artistic style and technique, as well as what inspired the artworks featured in this new exhibition.
View from the Water is on display from June 4th - 28th, 2022.
The gallery is located in the Shoppes at the Beacon Inn, 520 East Savannah Rd. Lewes, DE, and is open Tue-Sat, 10-5, and Sun 11-3.
