Growing up as a first-generation Russian immigrant, Elizabeth Gleyzer (COL ’20) experienced a deep sense of alienation - from her peers and eventually, from her own family. Yet music created for her a space of healing and let her find her voice. Through her talk, she hopes to inspire her audience to create counter-cultural communities and use art to express their authentic selves.
