The #Mudskipper is an #amphibious fish , also known as #walkingfish that spends most of their time out of the sea. They can breathe both in and out of water. Like other fish, They have gills that extract oxygen from water, but besides using their gills, mudskippers can also breathe air. Mudskippers absorb oxygen through their wet skin and have sacs under the skin near the gills that act like lungs, transmitting oxygen from the air to the blood. Mudskipper may drown if they are never able to leave the water.
