This is a 46-year-old male patient who presented with a sensation of
fullness and decreased hearing in the left ear. Audiogram revealed severe sensorineural hearing loss. MRI scan showed a large left-sided CPA tumor which is consistent with VS, and measuring approximately 4 cm in size. The patient’s postoperative course was uneventful, and his facial function was House-Brackmann grade I bilaterally. Postoperative MRI showed gross total resection of the tumor. Histopathology of the tumor revealed that the tumor was a schwannoma.
