Jennifer is a personal trainer who was involved in a massive car accident 25 years ago. As she got older, she noticed more pain resulting from her injuries – pinched nerves and frequent migraine headaches especially.
She came to Dr. Lanman and he performed a three-level cervical ADR surgery to relieve Jennifer’s pain. A week after her surgery, Jennifer was walking two miles a day. In her second week, she walked four miles per day consistently.
Here, at her 2-week post-op visit, Dr. Lanman gives her the clearance to start going back to the gym with light weights. At the 4-week mark, the discs will be healed into the bone and Jennifer can get back to her full functional activity.
As a competitive outrigger, Jennifer is looking forward to being cleared to get back out on the water doing what she loves most at her 6-week recovery mark.
