Hi Friends,
I made a quick video to show you the first in the world successful swap of the notorious Simos 11.1 ECU. The 1.2L petrol Ibiza had crashed and the old ECU was completely out of order, so another used one was fitted. The good thing is the replacement ECU can be of any brand, it just has to be the same type. These Simos 11.1 ECUs don't allow changing any data inside, so Abrites has released the Immo Parts adaptation function that works with an Emulator called EM003.
It took me 2 hours in total to complete the adaptation and the car is good to go. There is no need to open any modules, solder or desolder, so it's an easy job.
If you want to see a specific procedure in a video, drop your comment in the comments section and I will do my best to make it happen.
