Happy #TherapyTipTuesday! This week’s tip is in response to a follower’s question looking for an activity to engage children to use their affected arm. This activity is appropriate for children or adults post brachial plexus injury, and those with hemiplegia or who have had a stroke, or experience difficulty using one side. This is great to help build strength, finger dexterity, increase range of motion, awareness of the other side of the body, and reach new milestones to learn how to cross midline.
If you have difficulty performing this tip, do not hesitate to contact me via direct message and I will do my best to respond within 24 hours!
Be sure to share this tip if you feel it can benefit others! Consult with your local therapist to determine if this tip is safe and appropriate for your child.
