What would you do if you weren’t afraid? Who would you be if fear didn’t stand in the way?

Naturally I lean into fear. There’s a sweet spot there for me, a comfort zone. As I remain in this comfort zone, I remain safe. No harm, no foul. But sometimes this zone doesn’t allow for me to reach my full potential. Sometimes this crutch of fear prevents me from doing the things I dream of doing and being who I dream to be.
I’ve been wanting to conquer Mt Storm King for over a year now, and finally I decided to take the leap and go for it. Join me as I discuss fear and attempt to hike this mighty king.

About Mt Storm King:

Mt Storm King is located in Olympic National Park near Port Angeles, WA with beautiful views of Crescent Lake and the Olympic Peninsula. The trail is approximately 4.1 miles round trip with around 2,100ft elevation gain. This hike is rated hard and should be hiked at your own risk. Challenges include steep inclines and scrambles. Last part of trail isn’t maintained and requires using rope to ascend to final part of trail. This part of the trail can be extremely dangerous as there are steep drop offs and loose gravel. Always research and check conditions of the trail before attempting to hike it.
