About Bridgerton: Bridgerton is an upcoming American period drama streaming television series created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes. The series based on Julia Quinn's best-selling novels, that follows the competitive world of Regency London high society. Julie Andrews will voice the pivotal character of Lady Whistledown. On July 10, 2019, it was announced that Phoebe Dynevor and Regé-Jean Page will play leads, while Jonathan Bailey, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlan, Ruby Barker, Sabrina Bartlett, Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh and Polly Walker was cast in as regulars.
