Having been characterised as an intellectual interpreter of music and an expressive artist, Victor's classical repertoire always sounds innovative due to his spontaneity and artistic nature. A laureate of the Cite des Arts de Paris scholarship and Albert Roussel scholarship, a graduate of The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and a student of Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris academy, Victor has three CDs under his belt that are notable steeping stones of the young prominent artist’s carreer.
Rorianne Schrade writes about Victor after the concert in Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in 2016: "My second point of agreement with the prior New York review is that Mr. Paukštelis is (as David La Marche aptly states) “a highly individual artist with a very clear vision.” A testament to this pianist’s strong individuality of conception is that he gave a feeling of newness and energy to works which are anything but new"
He has performed in world famous venues such as Carnegie hall (2016), Wiener Musikverein (October 2016), Carnegie Hall (2015) and Berlin Philharmonic (March 2015), as well as the Salle Cortot Paris (2013), “Yamaha Centre de Paris” (2009, 2010) “Cite Internationale des Arts” (2010, 2011), Lithuanian Centre of Hamburg (2007) Kaunas Philharmonic (2004, 2011, 2012) and worked with orchestras including the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra and Balys Dvarionas Music School Teacher Chamber Orchestra.
