Welcome Everyone to the Tactical Tavern! I am your host Tomas Alas and in this video we are reviewing the Stick of Fire from Shomer-Tec. This is a fused fire rod containing magnesium and ferrocerium. What I love is that magnesium acts as a fire accelerant burning well over 3,000 degrees fahrenheit. The ferrocerium generates sparks when hit with sharp edges and scraped off. For best results use the ceramic fire scraper that comes with the unit or a 90 spine on a survival knife. This will work rain or shine and is waterproof.
