The prolonged academic journey due to additional training years mandated by the NMC has caused confusion and distress among FMGs, with inconsistencies in rule implementation across states exacerbating the situation. FMGs express concerns over mental well-being and academic progression, labeling the rule as "mental harassment" and urging its revocation.
