Abbreviations:
ss = slip stitch
st(s) = stitch(es)
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet

To Begin: work 5 ch, ss into 1st ch of foundation chain connecting to make a circle

Round 1: ch 3 (counts as a dc), 14 dc into middle space of the circle, join round with ss into top of chain 3 (making 15 dc total)

Round 2: ch 3 (counts as a dc), 2 dc into next st, and 2dc into each of the next 13 st around, 1 dc into next st at base of the ch 3 post, join round with ss into the top of the chain 3 (making 15 pairs of dc – or 30 total dc stitches in this round)

Row 1: ch 3, 2 dc into next st, 1 dc, 2 dc into next st, turn

Row 2: ch 3, 1 dc into same st at base of ch 3, 1 dc into next 4 sts, 1 dc into top of ch 3 , turn

Row 3: ss into next 5 sts

Row 4 (1st ear): ch 7, 1 hdc into 3rd ch from hook, 1 hdc into next 3 ch, 1 sc into next ch, ss into top of last dc st of row 1

Row 5 (2nd ear): ch 7, 1 hdc into 3rd ch from hook, 1 hdc into next 3 ch, 1 sc into next ch, ss into base of dc on row 1

Fasten off work. Attach pom pom for rabbit tail.
