The Stechford to Aston Bridge 13 (SAS13) bridge replacement project is situated near Birmingham City Centre and is an enabler for HS2 on behalf of Network Rail.
This video is a timelapse that shows the new bridge being installed on 7 May 2022. 18 Self Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) moved the bridge into position.
The new SAS13 bridge will be the longest single span rail bridge in the Midlands and one of the largest in the UK.
