This is a majestic waterfall called "Ravana Falls". This fall is connected to India's legendary love story "Ramayanaya". It's believed king Ravana hid Seeta in a cave near to this waterfall. It's an 82-feet cascading waterfall, one of the widest in the island.


There is a mysterious cave system around here. There is a freaking underground pond called Blue Water Pond ("Nil Diya Pokuna" in Sinhalese). As far as we know, the access is unregulated (so it's risky) and diving is only suitable for experienced cave divers. The extent of the cave system is still unknown.
