'The Nineteen' is an idea by our own Rudi Bults, developed by Alister Atkin. The name comes from the year in which this model was invented, 2019. The idea was to build a guitar that falls exactly between the '43' and the LG2. In terms of shape, however, it resembles its big brother, because the body is actually that of the Forty Three, but 1 inch smaller.
Despite the smaller body, it has that enormous midrange power and the beautiful balance of a larger guitar, and manages to match the rich and powerful tone of the Forty Three. Even the bass is impressive!
This is the ideal guitar for the singer-songwriter who gets less pleasure from a larger body. Considering that nowadays, very different from the past, 50 percent of all new guitarists/singer-songwriters are female, this impressive sounding guitar should quickly find its own audience.
Like most Atkin guitars, it is lightly aged with a baked Sitka spruce top to make the tone even more open and the appearance even more attractive. Comes with TFOA passport in a TKL hardshell case.
