because of its authentic taste and creamy texture. I have added a piece of dry fish for extra flavours and if you don't like dry fish, you can skip that step. My mom always add potatoes in muttai paal curry and it added extra taste for the curry.This Srilankan egg curry is a must try recipe. There are many variations in egg curry. Potatoes - 3
Coconut - 1 Large
Onion - 1
Green Chilli - 5
Fenugreek - 1/2 Tsp
Turmeric - 1/4 Tsp
Dry fish - 1 Piece( optional)
Salt to taste
Lemon Juice - 1.5 to 2 Tbsp
Water - 1 Cup
Fenugreek and fennel powder - 1/4 Tsp( optional)
For seasoning :
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Fennel Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Shallots - 2
Dry red chilli - 2
