When it comes to submarines, not all of these seacrafts are created equal. Some submarines, like the ones used by the U.S. Navy and the Soviet Navy, are killer seacrafts with many military capabilities.
Which are these submarines? Well, there’s the Typhoon, the Akula class, the Sierra class, the Triomphant class, the Vanguard-class, the Yasen, the Graney and more. And what makes these seacrafts so noteworthy is that they all have record-breaking stats. Take the Typhoon class for instance; this seacraft is the world’s largest submarine with a submerged displacement of 52,910 tons. It can easily accommodate 160 crew members for more than 120 days and can travel at amazing speeds of up to 32 mph (52 km/h) underwater.
These submarines bring the best of science, engineering, and technology to create seacrafts that are deadly as they are efficient. In this video, we bring you 10 of these dangerous submarines along with their specifications and we dare you not to be impressed.
