What was to be a two-errand and some Sweet Wanderings day turned out to be an eye-opening experience. As I was walking along side the entrance to San Nicolas shopping mall, I saw how long the line was to get in to the mall. I was taken aback. I couldn't believe my two eyes not the third eye of Shiva. The young, the middle aged and the elderly were willing to risk contracting Covid-19 in the hopes of landing a TV, a laptop or any other item included in the VAT free Friday, this past June 19th. I had to walk back a few meters and start recording. This was just the side street entrance to the mall. As I made the corner and turned right to continue walking towards my first destination, which the mall never really was, I started to see an even longer line on one of the main entrances. I kind of thought to myself, "People must really be so stressed being couped up at home or really crazy."
