What the title says.
A worn tailstock body being rebored. The boring bar support on the lathe carriage was bored out in situ using a boring tool in the lathe chuck.... then without disturbing the setting, the boss to accept the bar was bored true in the chuck. The tailstock was then honed out to finish and a new tailstock barrel made to suit.
Lathe is a 14" x 36" Town Woodhouse 'Junior 7' made by Town Woodhouse (also known as Woodhouse & Mitchell) of Brighouse, Yorkshire, UK.
