A number of people were seen running into a church in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk, as loud bangs rang out, in footage circulating on the eve of Orthodox Easter on Saturday, April 16.
The Russian-backed Donetsk mayor, Alexey Kulemzin, said Ukrainian shelling on Saturday killed a woman and injured six others.
Furthermore, on Easter Sunday a Russian S-300 missile destroyed a church in Ukraine's south-eastern Zaporizhzhia region on Easter Sunday (April 16), local authorities said.
The Zaporizhzhia regional military administration wrote on the messenger service Telegram that two missiles hit the village of Komyshuvakha, and that one exploded near the church.
