Did you know that a Serum B12 blood test is extremely inaccurate. In fact, numerous research studies have pointed out how flawed this test is because it produces the largest amount of incorrect findings both positive and negative.

The scientific literature has shown that the most appropriate and accurate way to determine a B12 deficiency is by running what’s called an MMA test, which stands for methylmalonic acid, in conjunction with a homocysteine test and a serum B12 test. This is the only way to accurately determine if this vitamin is deficient.

So, if your doctor is only running the serum B12 test without these other 2 and refuses to add them, don’t waste your money. Because chances are very high that you won’t receive accurate findings.
