To qualify for Universal Credit as a couple, the following conditions must be met:
You must both live at the same address.
You must be living in England, Scotland or Wales.
You must be 18 or over but below State Pension Credit age.
You mustn’t be in full-time education.
You can’t have savings or capital exceeding £16,000.
You must be married to each other, be civil partners or be living together as if you were married.
